インスタレーション
あらゆる生物には「生きるための地理的な領域」つまり「家」が必要である。家を失った場合には死に晒されるしかない。家を失い死に向かう乳牛たちの身体には「地理的な領域」を想起させる模様が刻まれており、それが彼らの運命を定めてしまったかのようだった。私には彼らの結末を変えるためにできることはなにもない。彼らの運命を定めたかもしれない彼らの模様を描き変えることで、彼らを迎え入れる「地理的な領域」が現れるだろうか。そういう幻想を抱くことしかできないのだ。

Installation
Every living thing needs a “geographical area to live” or “home. If they lose their home, they are exposed to death. The cows that lost their homes and were dying had patterns on their bodies that reminded me of the “geographical area,” and it seemed to me that they were doomed to this fate. There is nothing I can do to change their fate. By reanimating the patterns that might have determined their fate, would a “geographical area” emerge that would welcome them? I can only have such illusions.
